Orixa is genus including one species, a hardy deciduous shrub originating from East Asia and known for the autumn colour of its leaves. It grows between 6 and 8 feet and will produce aromatic bright-green leaves which will turn white or pale-lemon colour in the autumn.
They should be planted in a well-drained loamy soil in a reasonably sunny position of your garden.
Orixa japonica, commonly called East Asian orixa or Japanese orixa, is a deciduous shrub growing to 10 feet with an equal spread. Native to Japan and South Korea.
