Leptotes is a genus of dwarf-growing, epiphytic orchids originating from Brazil. They have attractive flowers on fleshy stems topped by a single cylindrical leaf.
These orchids are best grown in small pans hung near the glass in a compost of osmunda fiber and sphagnum moss. During winter, the temperature should remain around 12oC and you should water occasionally.
In the summer, the temperature should be limited to 24oC.
