Clianthus are evergreen perennials suited for the greenhouse. They have attractive foliage and large pea flowers.
They are often grown in hanging baskets or over a wire frame. The compost used used be 2 parts fibrous loam, 1 part peat or leafmould with some added sharp sand, broken brick and charcoal.
