Chrysocoma is a genus of shrubs from South Africa. In the UK they require a greenhouse to thrive.

C. coma-aurea is an evergreen shrub, common name Golden Hair, it grows two feet and produces yellow flowers in the summer.

Plant them in well-drained pots with a compost equal parts loam, peat and silver-sand. Then place them in a greenhouse with plenty of access to sunlight. During the winter a temperature above 7oC should be maintained.
