Camassia is a genus of hardy bulbs native to North America.

C. cusickii is 2 feet and has pale lavender flowers in the shape of a star.

C. leichtlinii (below) is between 2 and 3 feet, its flowers are either a mauve-blue or purple color.

Camassia should be planted in a moist soil with a location with access to the sun or a light shade.
